Man with half a head speaks out

Carlos 'Halfy' Rodriguez has spoken out about the accident that left him with part of his head missing.

Photographs of Rodriguez, who is from Miami, were received with an equal measure of intrigue and shock after appearing online. Now he has spoken out for the first time about what happened to him as a teenager, blaming a drink and drugs binge for his unusual appearance. It turns out that the injuries he sustained happened when he hit a pole in his car and flew out the windscreen, landing on the road head-first. "I was barred out on drugs. I was driving and I hit a pole and flew out the front window and landed on my head," he said. "And this is how the old boy has come out.
That is why it is not good drinking and driving or drugness (sic) and driving. It is no good kids." Doctors were forced to remove a large section of his brain and skull to save him yet despite this he went on to make a full recovery, albeit with a rather unusual dent in his head.
